join the collective

thank you for choosing to be
part of the change!

We’re a passionate bunch of individuals, families, communities and service providers with a common goal: to improve the lives of Far North Queenslanders.

As a community-led initiative we’re working alongside one another to strengthen and integrate disability, rehabilitation and lifestyle services across FNQ.

We’re built on the idea that real change happens when people come together. As a member of the Collective, you’ll be supported by a backbone team whose job is essentially to bring people together to make things happen.

By uniting the voices of Far North Queensland we can identify what’s already working well, and what needs further strengthening so that care and support across one’s lifespan, is more connected.

FNQ Connect acknowledges the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the lands and waters on which we live and work. We recognise the Gimuy Walubara Yidinji people as the Traditional Owners of the land on which FNQ Connect is housed (within the Smithfield campus of James Cook University).

We pay our respects to Elders past and present and extend that respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across Far North Queensland, including the Torres Strait Islands.
